Day 01: Speed boat to Nusa Penida – Exotic East Nusa Penida Tour
In the morning you will be picked up from your own-booked South Bali hotel and transferred to Sanur Harbour, where you will embark a modern fast boat and cross within 45 minutes (shared cruise) to the neighbouring island of Nusa Penida, the largest and most exotic of the three Nusa Islands. Long overlooked by its neighbouring island Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida is a blend of authenticity and one-of-a-kind scenery with its collection of unique Hindu temples, unspoilt white sand beaches bordered by limestone cliffs, and underwater marine life that excites snorkelers and divers.
Upon arrival at Nusa Penida, experience the extraordinary wilderness of Nusa Penida with the first visit to the Teletubbies Hill, where you can take in the tranquillity of the endlessly green hills and emerald slopes stretching until the horizon.
Continue the adventure with a visit to Diamond Beach, an untouched, glistening white-sand beach with turquoise blue water surrounded by verdant limestone cliffs at the very eastern tip of the island. The dramatic coastal views and highly instagrammable photo opportunities are one of the main reasons for the island’s fame. You will have enough time to take some photos from the various viewpoints along the cliff. Keep an eye over the bay when you walk back up, as you might be lucky and spot Manta Rays swimming in the calm waters.
Next take a quick walk to the neighbouring Atuh Beach ringed by rugged cliffs known for its gorgeous views. If you still have enough energy for a climb, you can descend to the beautiful beach surrounded by green hills for a relaxing swim, or a refreshing drink sold by the shacks along the beach.
Hop back into your car and wind back along the coastline with a stop at a local restaurant for lunch before you reach Goa Giri Putri, a spiritual site hidden inside a cave where many Balinese Hindus come for their pilgrimage and purification ceremony. Located halfway-up inside a large rock formation, you will have to ascend around 100 stairs to reach an esplanade with a very narrow opening in the rocks through which you crawl into the sacred cave. Once you passed the slightly claustrophobic entrance, you will find yourself in the huge cave filled with incense smoke that complements the mystic atmosphere formed by the presence of various shrines, statues, and altars. The whole cave is approx. 300m long and up to 30m high. Once you reached its end you will have the opportunity to get a holy water blessing from a Hindu priest near the exit.
Afterwards transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 02: West Nusa Penida Adventure
Experience the extraordinary wilderness of Nusa Penida with a visit to the magnificent Kelingking Beach. Enjoy one of the most breath-taking views over the hills and a small strip of white sand from the viewpoint. The dramatic view of white cliffs contrasted with azure, blue water and rolling waves is one of the most photographed spots on the island. The bay features a green limestone formation reminiscent of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The pristine beach itself can only be reached via a challenging 400m cliffside hike that is recommended only for the fit and adventurous travellers.
Drive to the famous Angel’s Billabong, where colourful rocks form a natural infinity pool with crystal clear waters. The nearby Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) is marked by a distinguishable landmark of a hilly arch-like rock formation over crashing waves and provides incredible views over Manta Bay, named after the giant Mantas, that with some luck can be spotted near the surface of the deep blue water.
Continue your excursion with a swim at Crystal Bay, a secluded cove with a 200-metre stretch of white sand. Besides its beautiful palm-fringed beach, the bay is best known as one of Nusa Penida’s famous snorkelling and dive sites.
Return to your hotel to relax and the rest of the day is at leisure.
