Tour at a Glance
Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Bidadari Island – Kelor Island – Menjerite – Kalong Island
Arrival in Labuan Bajo, boat trip begins. Snorkeling at Bidadari and Manjerite, trekking at Kelor Island, sunset at Kalong Island with thousands of flying bats. Overnight on the boat.
Day 2: Rinca Island – Penga Island – Padar Island
Trekking to find Komodo dragons on Rinca Island. Snorkeling at Penga Island (for experienced snorkelers). Sunset trek to the top of Padar Island. Overnight on the boat.
Day 3: Long Beach – Pink Beach – Komodo Island
Relaxing or snorkeling at Long Beach. Snorkeling at Pink Beach. Afternoon trekking on Komodo Island to spot Komodo dragons and wildlife. Overnight near Komodo Island.
Day 4: Manta Point – Taka Makasar – Gili Lawa Darat Island
Snorkeling with manta rays at Manta Point, relaxing at Taka Makasar’s white sand beach, and sunset trekking at Gili Lawa Darat Island. Overnight on the boat.
Day 5: Siaba Island – Sebayur Island – Labuan Bajo
Snorkeling at Siaba Island (possible turtle sightings) and Sebayur Island. Return to Labuan Bajo. Transfer to hotel or airport.
Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Labuan Bajo - Bidadari Island - Kelor Island - Menjerite - Kalong
Pick-up at your hotel or the airport in Labuan Bajo Town. (Please take the earliest morning flight to Komodo Airport Labuan Bajo if you wish to start the tour immediately upon arrival.)
Transfer by car to the harbor to board a local wooden boat.
First stop: Bidadari Island for snorkeling.
Continue to Kelor Island for a short trek to the top, offering amazing views of Flores Island and the surrounding turquoise waters. (Optional snorkeling/swimming available.)
Visit the Manjerite snorkel site for offshore snorkeling.
Head to Strawberry Rock to enjoy the scenic surroundings.
Move to Kalong Island to witness thousands of fruit bats flying out of the mangrove forest against a stunning sunset backdrop.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on the boat.
DAY 2: Rinca Island – Penga Island – Padar Island
Breakfast on the boat.
Morning trek at Rinca Island (the second-largest island in Komodo National Park) to spot Komodo dragons and other wildlife.
Snorkeling at Penga Island (only for experienced snorkelers).
Continue to Padar Island for an afternoon trek to the summit for the most spectacular panorama in Komodo National Park.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the boat.
DAY 3: Long Beach – Pink Beach – Komodo Island
Breakfast on the boat.
Morning relaxation, swimming, or snorkeling at Long Beach (Padar Island).
Head to Pink Beach (Komodo Island) for another snorkeling adventure.
Afternoon trek on Komodo Island to search for the famous Komodo dragons and other wildlife.
Boat will anchor nearby for the night.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on the boat.
DAY 4: Komodo Island – Manta Point Taka Makasar – Gili Lawa Darat Island
Breakfast on the boat.
Boat to Manta Point for a chance to snorkel with giant manta rays (sightings are not guaranteed and depend on weather and luck).
Visit Taka Makasar, a tiny island with a beautiful white sandy beach, for more snorkeling and relaxation.
Continue to Gili Lawa Darat Island for sunset trekking and to enjoy another stunning panorama.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on the boat at Gili Lawa Darat Island.
DAY 5: Gili Lawa Darat Island – Siaba Island – Sebayur Island – Labuan Bajo
Breakfast on the boat.
Depart to Siaba Island, another spectacular snorkeling site within Komodo Park (with luck, you may spot many turtles).
Proceed to Sebayur Island for the final snorkeling, swimming, or relaxing session on a lovely white sandy beach.
Return by boat to Labuan Bajo Harbor.
Transfer to your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
Breakfast and lunch will be served on the boat.
*Note: Please book an afternoon flight (around 4–5 PM) if you plan to fly on the same day after the tour.
