Overview
Taman Negara, Malaysia’s premier national park, was initially established as a protected area of approximately 1,000 square kilometers surrounding Gunung Tahan—the highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia and the second highest in the country. Originally named King George V National Park, it was renamed Taman Negara (which means "National Park" in Malay) following Malaysia’s independence.
Today, the park spans a vast area of 434,300 hectares, making it the largest national park in Malaysia. It extends across three states—Kelantan, Pahang, and Terengganu—with more than half of its territory located within Pahang.
The Shared-In-Coach (SIC) package is fully managed by Taman Negara Resort, which operates its own transportation service from Kuala Lumpur city centre to Kuala Tahan or Labu Sentral Jetty. Guests are guided through a boat transfer to the resort for check-in. All services included are part of the SIC package.

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur / Labu Sentral Jetty / Mutiara Taman Negara
0730 hrs Registration for transfer at Hotel Istana – Grand Mahkota Ballroom, Lower Lobby
0800 hrs Depart Kuala Lumpur to Labu Sentral Jetty by coach or van (shuttle)
1115 hrs Expected arrival at jetty & assemble at Labu Sentral Jetty Point
1130 hrs Depart to Mutiara Taman Negara by boat
1300 hrs Expected arrival at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort
1630 hrs Video presentation on Taman Negara – National Park at the Interpretive Centre (subject to availability only)
1900 hrs Dinner at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
2030 hrs Introduction of guide at Main Lobby
2045 hrs Proceed to Night Jungle Walk with Nature Guide which is an experience that you will never forget. You will be enthralled by the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

Day 2: Mutiara Taman Negara
0730 hrs Have a hearty breakfast at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
0930 hrs Commence your exciting journey with a visit to the “Canopy Walk”. Walk along 500 meters of walkway strung up 30 meters above ground level. The view from here is sight for weary eyes. Continue the trip with a trek to the Teresek Hill. Lunch at Seri Mutiara Restaurant.
1430 hrs Board the longboat for the trip to the beautiful cascading waterfalls of Lata Berkoh. Swim in the clear waters of the fall and enjoy the best nature has to offer. The journey back is a wonderful experience as you drift downstream with the usage of the motors (require short jungle trekking too).
1900 hrs Dinner at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
Approximate duration of each visit and transfer time:
Trek to the Teresek Hill: 1.5 hours. Depends on clients’ level of fitness. The whole tour trekking and canopy walk takes about 2 hours.
Boat ride and jungle trek to Lato Berkoh: 30 minutes boat ride followed by 20 minutes trek.

Day 3: Mutiara Taman Negara

0930 hrs – Rapids Shooting
Depart by boat for Kuala Trenggan, navigating seven sets of mild rapids between Kuala Tahan and Kuala Trenggan (round trip). En route, visit an Orang Asli settlement (subject to availability, as the community is nomadic).
1300 hrs – Lunch at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
Afternoon – Free at leisure
1900 hrs – Dinner at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
